Design

SCHOTT Gemtron can support you in designing your parts, components, solid models, systems, tools and processes. We utilize Pro Engineering, CAD (Computer Aided Design) and other leading edge systems (e.g. Auto CAD, Product View) to provide you with the best solution. We have the ability to produce custom designs which incorporate part transitions, styles and features that are brand protected by you. SCHOTT Gemtron can supply laser fabricated metal component parts for prototypes, as well as low volume production quantities when tooling is not the answer.

Prototyping

We can produce low cost aluminum or mild steel tooling for prototype evaluation or pre-pilot builds. We have the ability to utilize full SLA (Stereo Lithography) models, as well as silicone tooling to cast sample parts in optional colors, textures and grades of plastic material.

Tooling

The tools used by SCHOTT Gemtron are designed using full CAD (Computer Aided Design) software capabilities, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining, and EDM (Electro Deposition Machining) burning capabilities. We build our tooling very modular and compact to optimize our manufacturing process and work cell environment.
